Jumping off the ledge into full time motherhood...

Turning 32 last month, it didn't occur to me that I'll be a stay at home mum (sahm) this soon in life. Flashbacks of uni days and earning my engineering degree engulfed me when I submitted my resignation letter admitting to the fact that juggling full-time work with family commitment was a complete utter struggle.

Late meetings and events kept me from reaching home on time... at best, I have a 15 minutes span to cuddle with my kids before their bedtime and that will be on a good day. Weekends are dreadful to even do laundry let alone bonding with my loved ones. Granted, being a working mum does have its perks.. I'm able to indulge in personal time like having a light read on the train, enjoying a steaming cup of coffee before turning on the workstation, gathering thoughts for the day tasks ahead and of course, the extra monthly income doesn't hurt a bit.

But then again, I know it's cliche but family outweighs all.

This blog is created as on outlet to express the daily chronicles of being a full time mother. I know that there are loads of ladies out there who are just as clueless like me with regards to healthcare, and home budgeting to name a few. Regardless, I applaud to those whom have overcome all obstacles to be a nurturing mentor figure to their children and keeping their house in check while I honestly yearn to be one.

So let the journey begins....
